Seed our future Campaign is a national movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience in an attempt to bring about mass awareness of the unsubstantiated laws and regulations surrounding the Cannabis plant and how this affects us all
Just one act of autonomy and compassion can create a catalyst for change. We must remember that it is us who have the power, not the powers that be. Together, we can stand tall, speak with truth and sow the seed of hope.
"One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws".
An Essential Crop
Cannabis has been an essential crop for thousands of years. Over the past century, this plant has been vilified and prohibited. Yes, you can grow Cannabis in the UK but the licensing and restrictions are unnecessary and disproportionate.
This has been based on lies, corruption and greed so that corporations could monopolise key industries.
Cannabis was the main competitor to the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, timber and cotton industries during pre-1930 and the global prohibition has led to the destruction of our environment, health and society in general.
.
The Cannabis Industry
The industry has tried working with the Government for several years to no avail, the discovery of the Endocannabinoid System; arguably the biggest breakthrough in biology in recent history has been mostly hidden for almost 30 years.
The Boom of the CBD industry has brought awareness to the many health and medical benefits of the plant.
Cannabinoids are essential to health, the seed is essential to nutrition and the rest of the plant is essential to our future ecology.
A fantastic documentary investigating the journey of Dr Raphael Mechoulam and his team, the first scientists to isolate cannabinoids from cannabis which led to the amazing discovery of the Endocannabinoid System
An Essential Crop
New developments can provide answers to sustainable technologies which if adopted, could replace almost all Petrochemical fuels, power and plastics; restore our soils, provide food security, sequester huge amounts of carbon which can safely be stored for thousands of years, and replace tree paper and unsustainable textiles and the list goes on.
Great pressure is currently being placed on all aspects of the cannabis industry due to lobbying from corporations. Corporations whose sole interests are making profits for their shareholders do not care about us or the environment.
What can we do?
People's power is now the only way forward, together we can make a huge change which will benefit all of us. We intend to tell the truth, rally support and act using non-violet civil disobedience on a scale that the Government will not be able to ignore.
Power to the People!
